This website was started in May 2009 as “Shishir Speaks” on a free web hosting server. Due to several limitations of those servers to handle increased website traffic, this website is now moved to a paid server.

Shishir Kumar is a Software Developer, a learner, a speaker, and an author. Occasionally, he has been known to wear the Cricketer’s hat, too.

The Start

It was 24th Day in September of a leap year 1984*, a super child named Shishir was born. Right after few months of his birth, Shishir started with distinct acts to gain/regain/bargain favors. These class-acts were exhibited to a very limited number of audiences. Rest of the World never had the access to this wonder-kid.

The Effects

These unauthorized masses developed rumors of all kinds about this wonder-kid. The most interesting of them was “This child can hold his breath to any extent”. Due to this divine parents of Shishir got disturbed. They consulted God** regarding this, and realized that Shishir must always be kept in the center of the lime-light otherwise world will witness something of which even the news reporters and the historians will be afraid to mention#.

The Devil

Few years passed hassle-free and without any burden. No one ever predicted that something will come and will ruin the pure and innocent happiness of Shishir. Then suddenly, the Education System appeared from nowhere and started casting its spells.

The Change

After passing several bench marks under same spells, Shishir while in third standard met a Savior called Computer. This Savior had a green Turtle*** inside to play with. And to everyone’s amazement, this triangular turtle changed its positions on some commands. Shishir was glad to tame a Turtle who obeyed his commands. Shishir got a new friend, but Shishir wanted to be the commander-in-chief of this turtle. For this he had to prove his mettle above all those who were playing. And He did it!

The Time Travel

Time flew, Sand clocks turned and so did the calendar pages, the Turtle died and Paratroopers took its place, then came the Pac man and then VCop. Worldly things upgraded into more complex forms and also the Computers. Several new Languages were defined to hold command on Computers. Then one fine day after fairly learning BASICs^ of Computer, Shishir decided to develop new toys and utilities on his own.

The Present

With more than few Ups & equally Downs, seven years after the second millennium year, Shishir finally became a Software Engineer. Shishir now works as a Software Developer, in Bangalore, India.
